Abundant Harvest United Methodist Church

I can think of no better way to start off this blog than to feature the church I once use to attend located at the corner of 79th and Ditch. The name was changed in 1997, (It used to be called White Harvest), the playground out back has changed, but the outside of the building hasn't changed, the building it's self was built in 1963, and the sanctuary was rebuilt in 1977 after a fire damaged it the previous year.

The pastor who was there when I attended is no longer there he told a lot of jokes most of which i never got, I remember one day we came home from church and I told my dad that i had finally got some of the pastor's jokes and laughed at them, 'That's because you are getting older and more mature' my dad replied... I never laughed at another one of my pastor's jokes ever again. But i did have a pretty big crush on the pastor's daughter...well the extent of a crush you can have at thirteen.

I took the photos somewhat late in the afternoon as a few test shots, i haven't had the chance to ask if I can shoot inside but I will soon. I will also go back and take better photos as well, I thought the sun would make a nice touch but with out the proper filter, it just got in the way.
